Honestly the first time I read this I thought the mc liked the second ml too... but I reread this and its honestly SO obvious that the mc really really likes the ml... like honestly I feel blind the first time I read it... I HATE the love triangle in this too bcuz the ml is too precious I couldn't take it... BUT trust the second ml has like a 0.0000001 chance its that low (boohoo for him)... It just feels like the second ml is winning bcuz the ML is a princess stuck in a tower fr. But it's less that the MC likes the second ml and more that he enjoys the company of someone he sees more as a close friend or role model bcuz he hasn't rlly seen the world.
And the fact that the second ml is a lot more free than the mc and he just seems... lighter? like its both harder and easier for him. The MC really respects that side of him and honestly? If the ML didn't exist I can see the MC and the second ML being a thing. Sadly for the second ML, he won't get chosen bcuz the MC can't let go of his first love too yknow... Not really, in the 67 or 68th chapter (i forgot) there was a scene that *kinda* looked like they kissed or most likely it was just a hug with a really weird angle. Maybe im blind but yeah i dont think it was intentional.
