Yes. It feels like the character developments were lacking. Like she's timid and then one chapter later she asks to meet the emperor. Stuff like that just isn't believeable.
Aside from that, I also agree that the plot progressed too quickly. The middle there felt like so much new info is dumped into the story that it felt like exposition info dump instead of revealing information to the readers.
The story started out interesting, then the plot got super thick (I guess) and became too much too fast. The author threw in all the details and info, but like I said, with the story being so short and the pacing so quick, it still felt like something was lacking
The art was just okay, but by the end I think it actually got worse. That one chapter where the FL got off the horse still gives me nightmares .
The FL is also supposed to look exactly like the empress, but with how over-the-top the drawings were, I didn't see any resemblance.
And the stuff the ML kept saying... it was so questionable and just plain cringey and creepy. When he said if he found the empress hot because she had the same face as the FL

Honestly, it's a pretty mediocre story. It's not bad, but it's not good either. It should've been longer to make the plot better, but at the same time I'm glad it was short
