I feel you, my guess is it’s because the other couple Ian and Lucy had such a short story. Maybe the author realized that first story was too short so she included them in this one. But I hope we get more of Jess and lily! Side stories at least
I love both couples but why does it have to mix both stories when the other couple already have their own story.
I would had hope it kept focusing on just Jess and Lily.
