Honestly I agree completely. It feels frustrating that she continuously kept trying to push some relationship there. It felt so…ignorant to do. “They relentlessly treated her like garbage last time, but but maybe if they see her they’ll like her!” Bullshit. Why does she think she snapped in the first place? Cause of her power? It’s cause she was tortured and treated like shit for existing!! Come on!! Was she stupid or naive?? Eugh! And frankly when she realized the Duke was related to Fleta he should’ve allowed her to go live with the only family that never treated her like shit! And letting her use a maids uniform the first time she bathed her? She couldn’t with all the money she fucking has make someone buy some clothes for her? It really rubbed me the wrong way the entire time.
Mc didn't really love Fleta in my understanding cause if she did then she should have remove those who hurt her from the roots starting from the emperor to the eldest princess but all she planned was to purified Fleta. So what next if Fleta turn into someone who doesn't have darkness? Become kind but still continuing experiencing depressed life? Hated by the emperor and hurt by Vivienne. Mc only focus on changing the empires destiny but not for Fleta's life that was still suffering.
She should've remove the emperor after knowing what kind of a man he is but seeing her reaction she somewhat just acts like she doesn't care if her father is a horrible father hmp. She still care for him if that was me i won't like that kind of a man as my father. Selfish, greedy and disgusting.
