afaik it was just dropped:(( the person in charge of the story board adaptation never said anything nor did the studio in charge of the manhwa. they never said the reason

actually same here, i've tried reading the novel like 4 times but i somehow haven't made it past chapter 4. it doesn't help that apparently there's a bunch of things that were changed in the manhwa adaptation so i don't have the confidence to just start reading where the manhwa ended.
i rly want to read it tho bc it's such a good story and yeah at least this one's still ongoing
Oh I admire you ‘cause I didnt read from chapter 1. I looked up the chapter where the manhwa stopped but I can’t really make myself read it enthusiastically. I feel like my interest died and I cant imagine the scenarios in my head. I’m used to read manhwa first then continue reading the novel without a problem but for some reason, I can’t even finish a chapter.
