Ch1 when FL was begging for her dad to be called innocent, I lowkey couldnt even side with her (not siding with the duke either! Trash for other reasons)
Like girlie, let's be real, ur dad is a noble, a duke to be exact, u really think hes completely innocent and some nice guy??? He COULD be innocent (and probably is) but what gives u the confidence of that? That he's ur dad??? So many bad ppl are fathers??? The guy who u think is framing ur dad is a father. What, the fact that its UR father is what makes him special??? Also, even if he is innocent and being framed, HE'S STILL GUILTY OF NEGLIGENT!!!!! U mean to tell me ppl were DYING of poverty and as a duke he didnt check on the ppl for YEARS?!?!?!
I dropped this in ch25 so idk the full story, but the FL's dad gave me the ick since ch1 and i didnt even see the man and the FL lowkey seems smart but naive
