Sorry, guys! During system maintenance, some functions like comment are unavailable.

I almost didn’t read this gem.

I read the comments prior to reading the manga and had mixed feelings about the teacher and student. Some comments were rooting for them and blaming the other teacher for making him cross-dress. I went in thinking that the other teacher was being an asshole who made the main teacher cross-dress.

While reading the ending chapters, I realized how sad the legend is. I don’t blame Muroto sensei bc he was a child. He was a victim and that stayed with him (having to have a girlfriend). I like how this story describes different types of love. Tomogashima’s “like” for Izumo was of familial love. His parents got divorced and he no longer had his father with him all the time. He sought out that fatherly figure in Izumo sensei. And Izumo sensei never saw Tomogashima in any other way besides as a student, neighbor, and friend. As for Muroto sensei, he cared for the lighthouse keeper (more like lighthouse creeper) in a caring way. Also, that lighthouse creeper telling him to get a girlfriend or whatever while pursuing him was disgusting. I don’t care if Muroto sensei was the one to approach him. That’s disgusting and he should’ve never indulged him. Even though he had Izumo cross-dress and be his “girlfriend”, he never made advances on him nor forced him to do anything. I felt bad bc he just wanted to fulfill that promise he made to the creeper. Not his fault at all, and he really likes Izumo sensei. And, Izumo sensei liked him enough to go along with it.

I’m happy that there were no misinterpretations and misunderstandings between Izumo and Tomogashima. And I’m happy that the senseis are together as themselves.

If you made it this far, thank you for reading my long ass review (●'◡'●)ノ
