People love ariel? And are defending her? What is wrong with them?!
I guess it was of her background being shown: how her circumstances were difficult, how she waited for and was dependant on her lover, how she did evth for him, bcz she was actually fine just being with him even if he was not rich, and then after all the things she did for him he behaved like a trash towards her. Which is definitely no fair, cz not matter how many bad things she did, she was always a good lover to him and did everything only for him. Which still does not cancel my point in the original post above.
Yeah cheating cannot be justified unless she didn't know that he was married but she knew but I just can't believe people defend a accomplice in cheating,that's sick
There have been some comments defending Ariel and not having read the comics yet i thought they made sense but now i finished the famous 37 chapters and i can say she totally deserved it. Yes, her circumstances were harsh but 1. Both in 1st and 2nd lives despite story changing she still choose to put a death curse on the fml , even though she did it not for herself but for her lover. You have to take responsibility for your actions, she killed the fml in life 1 and i guess killed many other ppl for money in life 2. Why do you even feel her end was undeserving? 2. She choose to be a mistress despite knowing her lover was married and his wife did nothing bad to them. And she quite enjoyed it and schemed. She was definitely not in the right in this situation, no matter how much you love someone it doesnt mean you can destroy lives of innocent ppl. If she wanted to do it the right way, she would ask him to divorce, but she was ready to do dishonest things so she could have him and he could have title and money which did not belong to him. 3. She never felt regret for her actions, never questioned hersef and never felt guilty.
Not many ppl are evil just by nature, most of them have circumstances leading to that, difficult childhood, fear of death, etc. Then we should feel sorry for all the criminals too as they just prioritised their own intersts over other ppls, the same as Ariel did.

And fml is just too nice, even in life 2 there are still occasions where she tries to give them second chance, and questions her decisions as being too hasty, but it is actually more realistic as no one changes in one night.
