Ikr! This is just my guess but i think the translators for puppy were British and then for the official it's American. That's why they adapt the term "boy" instead.
I still wish they used puppy instead. Whenever I'm reading the official, i read it as puppy instead of boy
if only the they just stuck with puppy instead of boy.. in fact even babe or baby wouldve been better than boy. it sounds more like hes talking to an actual dog instead of his bf.. wonder what goes on in the minds of the official translators to make one egregious decision that hits like a bucket of cold water lmaoooo
