state of translation

this is more of a lighthearted post. like im not super worked up about this or anything since ive only really translated a couple of series on my own (i.e. this is NOT my niche), but why are ai translators eeeeverywhere :(.

ik i should be grateful for free translations and chapters, but im kinda bummed to see so many series being picked up by or uploaded vy ai translators (sometimes over real ones!). it's pretty hard work translating everything AND making it visually appealing, and even tho the quality (visually) isn't terrible, it does feel like im missing a lot of nuance

i guess its just one more thing im slowly losing to ai... ┗( T﹏T )┛
