Seriously, this is a waste of read. If any of you came to the comment section first to check if this is worth the read. I'm telling you now, turn around and never look back because this shit is ass as all hell.
First, this is the kind of story you would find in the early wattpad days. A story written by a freaking cringe edgy teen (Also referring to myself cuz I know for a fact that I would've eaten this shit up and call it a peak story when I was at that age).
The MC's mentality (Personality? Attitude? Dunno something about him) in the first few chapters is soooo frustrating and slightly cringe. He has this "woe-is-me" mentality, and it makes my eye roll every single time. Although I get that he may have trauma or low self-esteem because of what those sons of b*tches (Referring to his father and his so-called family) did to him, but his inner monologue all through out of the early chapters is just him whining and whining. It just made it so hard to connect to him and his story emotionally. And when his flashback is finally shown, I was just like "Yeah, uhuh... I already knew that... Next...".
You would think he would grow a back bone from his experiences, but no. He just let's them, tho I understand if he can't stand up to his "family", he could atleast, to some extent, be able to stand up against ML in the early chapters right? No. The author made the MC the typical Y/N Male Omega. Weak to pleasure, easily manipulated (the becomes surprised when they were treated like trash), and not that sharpest nor the brightest.
AND BIIIIIIIIIITTCCCHHH. Don't get me started on his appearance. In the early chapters, he looks to be a decent working adult. Petite but looks normal human. TELL ME WHY as the chapters progressed he became smaller and smaller and became looking like the Y/N meme (iykyk). The ML became more good looking tho his build is one of those typical CEO wide shoulders that can cover the mc's whole body in the Y/N memes. Liikkkeeee whhaat.
I have more to say but Imma stop right here for now. I've read this all night and I need my well deserved sleep. I'M ALSO PISSED OFF AT THE ML, but thats for another time. Need me some sleep.
