the whole premise of the anime is basically using their lyrics (hence the rap battle idea) and words as a means of battling rather than physical violence, so their mics are essentially their weapons and they fight with their words

someone PLEASE give me a simple explanation of what tf just happened, for context ive read a few of these oneshots but never the actual anime and i havent heard of the whole mic thing
