My wild guess is for "upgrading" guiding power of Dowon so he can help Kwonwoo to wake up again after going berserk again. They said after regaining his memory his power was like 120 and then 150%. Dowon is a A ranked guide, so it wasn't enough. That's why he took it to get more guiding power. Or something like this lol
