i LOVE this story so much!! It feels less like a narrative and more like the author successfully captured the very essence of love in written form (that was low key an exaggeration). the distinction between the 'want to love' and the 'want to be loved' is handled with such raw honesty LIKE.. it’s as if the characters are the literal embodiments of those two different hungers, watching those specific desires take human form YKWIM?? this is hands down one of the most resonant stories I’ve come across, easily a new all time favorite!!
