Tay and Jay's lives are attached to each other. As we know, Jay is incredibly smart and lucky but that luck comes from Tay. Meaning the reason Jay is lucky is due to Tay. Tay kind of absorbs Jay's misfortune and balances the scale. You can think it of as someone having a lucky item they carry or a lucky number. also since their lives are tied together, if one dies the other will too. If Tay gets sick, Jay will get sicker and so on. So even though Rahaman wants to kill Tay and Illay wants to kill Jay, they can't since the other's life will be at risk too
No that’s wrong, jaeui will literally just die. He’s only alive bc of taeui, he said his organs and blood supply were inexplicably fucked up since he was young

Taeui stole the guard phone and called ilay and says about his location and also said 'maybe I like you ,so when we met don't make me met my ancestors.ho was talking on the phone while running from the guard.Then he was beaten very badly .Jaeui accepted the proposal and made whatever tank model drawing for rahaman but he refused to let them go .Then ilay blast the rahaman palace while he was away but then xinlu came with his guard and threatened taeui with jaeui.So taeui went with xinlu meanwhile ilay was following them crazily and then xinlu shooted he fell and the HSR team members were clapping as they saw the scene
Didn't Tay cut the red string that connected him to his brother and tied it to Illay? I thought that meant he's not Jay's good luck charm anymore
in the novels, it's like a weird twin connection thing. Tae and Jae are onv two different people but it's kinda like this supernatural force (with tae being his luck personified etc) Jae is extremely smart and obv EXTREMELY lucky. but he doesn't have the best health. Tae is normal but also very healthy very active xyz. when tae gets ill, bc of their connection and the fact that Tae is like supernaturally connected to Jae, Jae doesn't just get sick he gets SUPER sick. if tae dies, all that luck goes with him and Jae does too. it's not a metaphorical thing, Jae will literally pass away when tae passes away. hope this kinda makes sense!
