It’s a bit later when he remembers, he continues to fake his amnesia for some time and this is so degrading towards her (especially since it’s from his pov) it only goes downhill from there until manyyyyy chapters later
just finished reading the novel after I asked this and lowkey I loved it, the entire thing was so in character and flawless, the romance is amazing too!!
