Axed? CRYING

doki March 9, 2026 8:42 pm

Should I even bother starting this? It’s been on my list for ages because I was waiting for it to finish, but now I see it was rushed to an end. Sob. I’m the type of reader who only touches completed stories with a proper conclusion. If a series gets axed, it honestly triggers my OCD—I just feel frustrated and left hanging.

I heard that the manhwa reached almost to the end of the novel (like it was only a chapter left or so in the novel), so it's a wonder why they couldn't just pushed it through.

but honestly, the ending could've ended when they finally confessed, so just stop there and it'll be alr. give it a read, their rs is so fun and i rlly like the comedic scenes

Hi, thanks for the reply. So you're saying I can read it (you have no idea how long I've been waiting for it to be complete, so I was really upset when I checked Mangaupdates to see if it was finished and read 'AXED').

If I read it, will I feel incomplete at the end and feel the need to know more? Like, I'm capable of going to look up how the novel ends. One question: is the novel complete? (No spoilers please).

Does the webtoon end on a cliffhanger? Is their relationship defined?

I'm scared. I don't want to feel the same sensation as in 'LET DAI' (I wanted to see them together!!!!!) .

I can't even explain the annoyance and anxiety I feel when I read something I like only to discover it doesn't have a 100% 'THE END' finale.

You won't feel incomplete since the manhwa basically reach, like, 95% of the novel. Novel is complete.

Manhwa ends on a cliffhanger somewhat as there was an issue of the ML (which I find it trivial tbh) but it didn't affect me much since the answer was pretty obvious and implied.

Spoiler but not rlly: they ended up together chapters before the ending and it's cute. You can just stop reading the manhwa when they confessed

It’s still worth a read it’s not a completely terrible ending

Thank you so much for your reply! I’m definitely going to read it now, especially knowing the ending doesn't leave anything important hanging and feels 'complete.'
Thanks for giving me the push I needed and for answering my questions perfectly. (And thanks for the mini-spoiler! It’s really important to me that they confessed and cleared things up). I’ll be diving into it this weekend or on my next day off from work.
Thanks again, kind stranger—until next time! :)
