So far they sent Haruka to live with his grandmother because he was a 3yr old who “cried too much which must mean he’s beta” the the grandmother died and he had to go back to living with them after like 10+ years with his grandmother. They know he’s an alpha now so they are putting super abusive pressure on him to be perfect because “alphas must be perfect” there have been off hand remarks that they didn’t approve of his mate. Haruka literally called them to tell them he wanted them to meet his daughter and they were like, “So what? You’re still not living as a perfect alpha so we got nothing to talk about” it’s bananas and they are terrible parents that don’t deserve forgiveness.
Damn. Typical Asian parents.
and i was so excited to have a lesbian pair in the story too...wdym they're evil brah not really a fan of female antagonists in bl stories bc positively written female chars are already rare enough within the genre itself (a shame) but at least this time they're not reduced to the tired annoying love rival trope that gets in between the main couple so i guess i'll see how this goes
