Quite the extreme take if you ask me. It was displayed that the world is entirely different than the world we live in now, and if anything humans are treated as literally nothing, so if youre comparing it to capitalism, then the nefs would represent religion, the devils would represent the billionaires, and humans would be the general public. Which if you ask me, nothing is displayed as good with how they treat humans. Humans are treated as cash cows and basically mindless slaves. Which is hardly propaganda.
This is a capitalistic nightmare I feel like I am watching an American propaganda movie. Whole narrative is weird, the devils arent the good guys. Mel is a very unreliable narrator.
Think about it devils infltrated all economical and governmental spaces humans live. Nefs only have their belief system. Devils think being kind is an insult and it is just matriarchial instead of patriarchial so no equality. They think being strong is being rightous if you get injured you should just die , you should be passionate about what you want and take it no matter what.(Sounds like rich billionare mindset)
Thiswhole thing is every western capştalistic propaganda smashed into one place sprinkled with some fairytale narratives of how they are the good guys.
