Sorry if this sounds ignorant, but what are the signs that it's ai? I want to get better at spotting that sort of thing, but I'm not very good at it yet...
To be honest im not sure this is ia, but if you look at chapter 2 page 42 the face is really weird. So it might juste be a weird filter on top of the original drawing
a lot of other people have been calling ai on the earlier chapters, i think you're probably right. i did notice as i was reading that that face looked super weird, but it didn't occur to me that it might be ai; thank you for pointing it out!
its probably an ai resolution enhancer. not genAI.
