I get your like for suits, cause I find them attractive too. But maybe it’s a cultural difference, because where I’m from “civil servants” with his kind of job wouldn’t wear suits. Plus the term “civil servant” is such a general, overarching term for anyone who works for the government, so plenty of civil servants wouldn’t wear suits. Usually anyone who works at a counter for customers wouldn’t wear them. (The exception might be the banking industry, since some super traditional, old school banks still force their employees to wear suits. But even they’ve moved on to business casual, and bankers aren’t civil servants anyways.)
