the issue is not the character, is how a1 created him just to be sore thumb for the main couple (and story) and really is adding absolutely no growth on kang or yiyoung. Ive commented before that the author here is losing track of her own story and it should have been extras instead. We waited for 1 whole year hiatus between season 1 and 2 on love work balance but theres no change, theres no balance, no work... her first story (on or off) had more to show us or even her yaoi manga story was more interesting that this one.
Like i said before his charachters perpous is to explore the dynamic of a childhood friend not being endgame and how his sort of personality deals with that reality. The mcs main story is already finished and like i said before he is not at actual threat to their relationship, the most hes doing is being a lil annoying. And what "story" was there to lose track of anyway their own conflics have been resolved and now their riding out the founding of their company, Doyoen causing mischeif from being in the company IS the story and how they'll grow as people through that. And what do you mean thereno balance no work, the whole mane thread of the story centeres around the fouding of their company, and the balance of that is not letting their relationship drama get intertwined with their work
Yall need to calm down with the doyeon hate, like he’s obviously not a threat to their relationship anyway. Yall cant stand to see any dynamic but the small pettit practically a girl x big manly man yaoi hands ceo ass mf, Doyeon is an interesting character concept if you can stand him sharing the limelight of ur otp for like 5 mins. The concept of him having a crush on the mcs bf and having to deal with the top x top impass is so interesting to me. Yeah hes a little bit of a dick but its an interesting intentional part of his character, hes a player in response to his lite rejection looking for something in others as a dristraction to what he wants in Kang, how is that not intuiting to yall. Im starting to think yall might be just here for guys kissing and not the story
