Is it just me that finds the chapter problematic. Like the fact that the MC just accepts the fact that he's not going to be able to learn magic atleast until the ML trusts him doesnt sound romantic but comes off extremely naive of him, and no matter what amount of past trauma the ML has and his fears of the MC leaving doesnt give him the right to essential cut him out from the outside world, even if its out of love. Because in the end the MC isnt just someone he loves but also a person off his own. And yes its not only just now but since the beginning of the story that the ML's actions are extremely problematic but just glossed over because of the fact he has trauma and because the MC simply doesnt care about it. And frankly making the second lead creepy just seems to be a distraction from the ml's blatantly overly possesive and weird.

Exactly!!! And not really the ml's actions are coming out of love, it's just extreme possessiveness and he wants to control mc completely!! He even sa'ed mc, i hate ml so much !

And mc is so damn stupid, ml's past events gives no justification for his present actions.

It's crazy because the SA doesn't stop at the ML, the subML does it too

Like poor MC, he catch a break

I think it's bc the MC himself also has past trauma that gave him attachment issues as well. MC genuinely thinks, due to how his past relationships all went, that he's doomed to have all his lovers lose interest in him and then drop him like a hot potato.

The ML is abusive due to having attachment issues, so the MC (who ALSO has attachment issues) views the MLs toxicity and abuse as proof of ML never leaving MC and never planing to, which is why the MC is so willing to just accept the abuse and let it happen.

They're both mentally ill and should go to couples therapy together...
