I like how you called mangas "comfy", I somehow completely agree with that lol.
But it is really hard to choose one over the other. I overall read waaaay more mangas over Manhwas, but the manhwas I do read are just so good so when I think back to all my favorites, I have more manhwas than mangas in my top 5
Depends...but it's the reason I read more Korean comics and Japanese nowadays...

is it just me or when its a Manhwa the plot is really thought through, unique and fun to read (actually get you looking forward to what may happen next) ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~when in a manga the plot is really random and common, reused a lot and sometimes (pretty often) it does not even have a plot! ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
but gotta admit sex scenes in mangas are way hotter than the ones in manhwas ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
and the art in manhwas is kinda realistic (idk if this is the right word) I find the art in mangas more comfy to read.
Another thing would be the slides, in manhwa you can't spoil yourself since they put the panels under each other which i think is kinda good! but in mangas on the other hand you sometimes spoil yourself since they put all panels (of the same scene) on same page but this also have its charms (when you are too lazy to scroll through white space)
but at the end of the day you just can't help but love both ╮(￣▽￣)╭ cuz both are yaoi ya 'na
