Bit too sweet and childish for Aniya-sensei imo, but the premise is very real. I did the same with my first love. I got so nervous and couldn't deal with the new, strange feelings so I broke up suddenly. Waah~ this makes my fears from decades ago feel valid that he also thought "what did I do wrong? Am I not good enough?" Of course, I never moved past ch1 irl. I totally ran away from him and those feelings I felt nostalgic BUT that doesn't sway my view of the story. It was alright
