Kang ilhyun kinda knew the whole time bc he had connections from hong kong (?) And jakyung is just a bad actor lol but ilhyun was watching him carefully. But jakyung actually gets exposed that hes not yi an (or ian but yi an makes more sense imo) on a cruise/boat/ship while he's on a mission and ilhyun is coincidentally on the ship too and kinda saves him from choi gi tae from getting his cover exposed by saying they dating (partners) I read the novel a while ago tho lol
