Yeah, even pretending that the end didn't happen, this season is super out of place! It feels so wrong witht the rest of the series. Some series are so scared to end, that they ruin their story by trying to keep it from ending.
Yeah I'm really wondering what the end game is for going through all this, the previous ending was already great with them living a peaceful life running their bakery. All this other stuff feels unnecessary and seems like a lot of pain for everyone to go through to do what? Have drama of some sort with the grandpa? Maybe trying to get taesungs folks back together? Like idk if any of these outcomes so far are worth all this.
