The rape was not necessary like at all, not only that, it didn't even make sense. Ur telling me a slave who is desperate to get his masters help in finding his family decides that the best way to do that is to rape him?!? I can see that they wanted to add a sex scene and they chose rape?! And in the most nonsensical scenario aswell bc hes a slave wdym hes going around raping the powerful Duke in his OWN HOME?!? The story could have actually been so much better if they'd built up their relationship and then have that lead to sex or literally anything else!!
