you can't expect Denji to be "normal" all hero-y and have average EQ considering his childhood and how he grew up. he doesn't know the correct decisions, reactions, emotions, he never learned or seen any of it.

Thats why i said you can be a victim and an ahole at the same time. Theres also such a thing as character development (not saying that it has to be linear but considering that next chapter is the last….eh.) which was undone to some degree the last chapter.
tbh this manga is messed up, everything has been messed up and you can't hold this as your survival strong. it'll let you down more than Burj Khalifa has stairs
Oh i dont even got anything to say. Hes a victim yeah and hes so- i mean i already thought it was sorta weird that he kept saying he wanted love when he already had pochita. (Pls do not attack me i alrd know he wanted a family and familial love) but that was the first hint that he can never truly be satisfied.
I have been defending denji with my soul on twt but damn i really have to say hes such an ass. When reze died, he said “oh how will i recover from this?” And in the next frame makima asks whether he wants to go on a duo trip with her and he immediately jumps up blushes and screams in joy.. that was the second time i thought “huh. Thats..something”
And now in part 2, Asa fking gave her life for him. Pure innocent crush on him. He fking told her that he would kill yoru for her and invites her to his “new world”. And in the next chapter he is beyond happy to fk yoru even tho he knows asa is conservative and would never agree. He is so ass, hes such a man. You can be a victim and at the same time an asshole and omg i cannot believe thats my goat. I rooted for denji ong
Pochita choosing to khs at the end cuz he realized he was fueling denji’s bad choices and then telling him hes better off being miserable cuz he got tired of his ways, understandable. He wasnt even grateful to pochita. Oh denji i truly truly loved you, fujimoto pls cook something i beg
