oof dropping this one

it was really enjoyable at first but when she found out that this is a novel, and that gyeongwon was the male lead, i already knew that the crown prince will have to give up his position at some point. like when they started comparing how he’s not as good as his brother, i was knew it was going to be doomed. but i never would have expected that he’ll die? since yk, sia already changed the plot and all? i was hoping for an angsty farewell or like a voluntary goodbye to like yk, find his own purpose since he feels trapped with his fate, right? but nah, he just had to be killed off and then they just highlighted his kind nature by distracting the tiger. but then what? his death was disrespected by the pyscho brother and her fucking mom got killed too?? and her soon to be sibling???? and what, their deaths are just easily brushed off like. bro, i would have stayed here still if we focused on the mourning and adjusting to the life without them haha. idk, sorry, this is just not my cup of tea. i feel like the potential of the story got ruined :/
