What a nothing-burger backstory for the ML. Though I will say I love this manhwa so far but only due to the fact that MC is standing his ground on the ML. Yet, I do like the fact that the ML doesn’t change his toxic behaviour as soon as the MC rejects him. It feels more realistic that the ML slowly starts to change rather than suddenly changing once he got rejected, I think it would make his redemption arc better (assuming he does redeem himself…) I remember being so pissed at the ML when season 1 ended and i’ve been hoping for a redemption arc that makes the ML suffer.
