The art is beautiful. Some aspects of the story is interesting. Had potential to be very interesting and enjoyable. I wouldn't really recommend.

I've read my fair share of overbearing/villainous ML's in both shoujo, BL's, etc. Some are portrayed so well so even though they're a bonafide jackass/unhinged it's difficult to hate/dislike them, their charisma and chemistry is just that good. Their gradual character development also makes the journey worth while.
This story went with the trapped inescapable pitiful MC. All attempts forever futile. Always experiencing different forms of misfortune. While ML live up to the title villain, blessed, all powerful bully, obsessive, forceful, controlling, degrading yet handsome but meh. Irony ML needs MC to survive but is manipulative like it's the other way around. Honestly treats him like crap, always full of threats, etc.
Yes there are worst more twisted, obsessive, violent and crazy ML out there, but their character are usually more dimensional. Something about this ML personality wasn't very likable, kinda felt luke warm and cold but not in a charismatic way. That's just my opinion though
