This might get me banned in a while, but im totally blaming that orange bronzer for the chaos rn in my country (and also to his supporters and voters) Oil price hiked up almost 100%. And reserves only lasts approx. 1 month. And as a developing country were still early into the ecars and still very reliant on petrol. Salaries only increased 5% in 6 yrs, nowhere near enough to afford both inflation and massive oil price hike. Beyond my annoyance for the price increase, im concerned more to our workforce reliant on petrol. Like ambulances, small time fishermen, humble delivery drivers and motor drivers. I cant imagine how concerned and afraid they r right now of their future, just cos some orange himbo decided to attack a country for inconsequential reasons of unrealized threat. A country so vital it literally controls 20% of global oil export (and 98% of our supply). Like if they wanted to prove something to the world, to leave their mark as a ruler, this is def one way to do it. And as a country sitting in the ring of fire, its only a matter of time before a natural calamity will hit us. Please, we may have the audacity, but we are nowhere near japan’s level of preparedness despite being the same plight. Our govt corrupted us and now we are suffering. It makes me so mad and hopeless.
