Reading all these toxic BL Manhwas really lowered my standards… like as long the ML seems like he genuinely love the MC and there’s an extensive redemption arc (+ is good when the MC has even a semblance of a spine) it is okay in my books

i’ve read toxic ones but this takes the cake, i’ve never actually felt sick looking at a characters face before. no matter how much toxic ones i read my standards wont be lowered, what he did shouldn’t be brushed over no matter how much redemption the ML put in. he didn’t suffer HALF as much as Sejin did in the past or the present :(

Hi, I've read a lot of stories with toxic ML so i'm prepared with the angst. What matters to me is the redemption arc in stories like this, ML suffering, regret, yearning, ans most importantly not sudden forgiveness like (I forgive you cause I like your d---, what you did to me before doesn't matter now cause i like the f--- me in my ***, type) So, If don't mind me asking, can you tell me how good it is based on the redemption arc in waterside night(taeju)?

Hiiii, I guess my standards are lowered like six feet under lmao. I would say this ML at least shows regret and yearning and the MC isn’t straight up brain dead and didn’t accept his attempt at reconciliation right away. This one does fulfill these requirements of mine. (This whole thing is one big reconciliation arc technically). I didn’t read waterside night but if it has elements you just described, I’ll probably like it as well so thanks for the recomendation

That's good enough, as long as there's a redemption arc and the uke didn't just forgive him right away then all is good. I don't think your standards is really low lol, i rated trace of margins 5 stars HAHAHA. Thank you for the reply, i hope you don't get stub your pink toe.

Because from start to finish this is ultimately a story about Ido's redemption. If you didn't want him to be forgiven, you should've dropped this early on.
