While he mentioned the snake princess because of the mission, i have belief that he'll try his best for kane of kane ever ask. And then he did, and mc agreed. They have a soft spot in my heart your honour.
The fact that these scary situations can be whimsical and not give much trauma to the kids, are all because mc also tries his best to make it easier on them will always be endearing to me. (other reason is that the kids are just, well, not normal kids lol)
P/s: mc got moves, i wonder if he actually had some kind of self-defense learning before
