I was prepared for a juicy angsty story and was left kinda disappointed. There are so many layers to their history together that I feel like was wasted potential. (Even if the story had gone a sadder route). She spends so much time sympathizing with him when she’s allowed to be angry, and he became this empty shell of a character whos only purpose is to exist for her. Not to say this was a terrible read, just anticlimactic and cliche till the end.
