Unlike other stories, this story never recognizes how complete trash the mc's parents actually are at every single level
The only reason mc and ml end up together is because the parents didn't do the job of protecting their son from his agressor even though the mc looked very uncomfortable with ml. They didn't ask the mc if he even wanted to be marked, or how it happened as if it wasn't something PERMANENT, they didn't try to know more about the ml, to learn if he was a decent person, they are disgusting
Instead they welcomed him into their home where the mc was forcing him to accept ml's presence even though home is supposed to be a safe place !
They then kept making babies they can't afford and dumped the tasks of looking after their younger siblings and the whole house on the older children WITH NO SHAME AND NO THANKS AT ALL
And the final act : when they thought that the TEENAGE mc might be pregnant they didn't try to reassure him or ask him what he wanted to do but assumed he would keep the baby and left the mc with his worries alone, HE IS A TEENAGER are they serious ? They are such failures
I have so much more to say but I pity the mc who had no alternative but be with the ml since he had absolutely NO SUPPORT from any adult around him and yet they try to make us believe he really chose to be with the ml just because he loved him
