If you are talking about matsumi, I thought they were trans but I might be wrong as I read it again ╮(￣▽￣)╭
if you read it again it's pretty clear that her husband is trans lol. my theory is that they're transmasc enby since they say "she [masumi] grumbles how she doesn't belong to either side" likely implying that they're nonbinary (which is a pretty outdated way of looking at it since u can still be bi/lesbian if u like someone nonbinary but i digress). there's also a part where her husband says "i dont look too weird do i? does this work for me?" when wearing a suit so that probably means it's the first time they're wearing one

getting a notification for this just reminded me how much the ending pissed me off like of Course the girl who spent the entire story being exclusively attracted to women and constantly reiterating that fact just randomly ends up marrying a man with absolutely no buildup? lmfaooooo. and to think this was one of my favorite mangas prior to that.
