This book really said fuck proper plot progression and character development. Like I saw this from the beginning where instead of having scenes that showed us the progression of her powers in any detailed way or meaningful scenes that showed the development of familial belonging between the protagonist and her dad and the people in the manor or even how her plans properly came together, we instead got multiple strips of the most basic internal dialogues/narrations about how things changed in so and so ways. Like What???!!!!! And especially in those last chapters, it got to such a comical point. Like the chapters of your book shouldn't feel like the type of summary I get from watching a book review on YouTube, especially when it involves the climax and finale of the series.
