I think the MCs dumbness stands out so much and is being criticized more than other dumb MCs is because she has like zero personality. We're 40 chapters in and her only defining trait is that she makes dumb decisions sometimes so that becomes the stand out trait. She has barely if any chemistry with the ML, she barely has facial expression, and none of her plans are particularly memorable. It's like watching a saltine cracker be reincarnated. Worse than just being dumb she's boring and dumb. If she was unhinged or a little off her rocker from the apparent dozens of death at least that would interesting. And it was in the beginning but her personality stayed that way. The only time she was interesting was the occasional angst but even that was never used to its full emotional potential. So yep, she's boring and dumb. How tragic
