I mean.... He dies like girls still (I think) and also he's trying to give himself the benefit of doubt, and it's a manhua ofc it's gonna be slow burn. And if he really just accepted his feelings just like that this will be ending in like 11 chapters, it's for the plot... Just let it marinate.
I might get hate for this, but I feel like Duan Jiayan (the MC) is taking too long to fall in love with the ML. It’s already chapter 98, yet there hasn’t been much progress from his side. He still doesn’t seem to take the ML’s feelings seriously and mostly treats him like a friend.
