She herself suffered in Korea, but that was because of the soul swap. Now everyone acts differently because the good soul is there. If she can "forgive" her adoptive father, she can forgive him. They became good, even with Ravioli, once the real soul arrived. Before that, even Ravioli was unloved and forgotten in a corner... so it's the same for Father. Without knowing he had a daughter he'd forgotten, he was an empty shell with his own cute little son. Bro had a WHOLE ASS YEAR MISSING FROM HIS MEMORY AND DIDN'T EVEN TRY TO FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENED!!! He ignored Dive to the point where he was being abused BY HIS NANNY WHO MIND YOU WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A CLOSE FRIEND OF HIM AND HIS DEAD WIFE!!! He is the head of his house and you're telling me he didn't even bother to check on how his youngest son was or how was his school going?? The poor kid was wearing fucking long ass sleeves is SUMMER!!! He barely ever fucking listens to her and when he does he does the complete opposite of what's she wants. He mostly sees the potential in MC by how useful she is, and ya I get MC has trust issues but they are there for a fucking reason!!! And ya I get MC is kinda cold towards him but it is extremely valid!!! He knew he was missing a whole year worth of memories and didn't even bother to find out what happened, he had fucking 18 years to even TRY and search and he didn't, the only damn reason he found MC was because she was doing business in his kingdom other than that he wouldn't even KNOW she had existed!!! He genuinely fucking sucks as a father.
I think all of this stems from the fact that the original Camilla's soul was missing. The world lived differently with the fake one… and it lives differently now.
