A lot of the inner dialogue though is defending suah and reframing his actions. Try reading flower of aloshya- the ml is similar to suah in that hes selfish, but the author doesn't try to greenwash that. Hes just evil plain as pie. So everyone calls him evil. On this one though, since suah isn't written as evil plain as pie, hes written as evil but ohhhh poor boyyyyy he was doing what he thought was besssttttt it's all for the better anywayssss people find room to defend suah.

I can't even describe the plot cos it's so crazy but essentially the first season is rly good it's an emperors brother I think recruits some random guy to go on a mission with him to get the flower of aloshya which is an mpreg flower essentially, to give it to the emperor cos he's dying with no heir but along the way emperors brother gets this weird obsession for random guy and it's an insane romance?? Plot but I'm not gonna spoil anything cos even I was gobsmacked by the random plot twosts
