Okay so I didn’t finish the entire novel I dropped it at 201 (the writing was mid at best and I got what I needed) but I can tell you their backstory and whatever else but I can’t promise all of it is in the correct order
So Yujin and Winston are gonna get married. At the reception Yujin will hear Winston’s buddies talking about how they should just go pay Yujin to sleep with him or use their pheromones and then asking Winston’s permission so Yujin gets upset and flirts with the other alphas. Ofc that makes Winston mad so he brings Yujin upstairs and goes into rut and sa’s him. When Yujin finally gets away days later he goes back to Angie where Winston will find him and realize he’s been stuck their and give Angie her own room while Yujin is expected to share a room with him. Angie also got really scared of Winston when he barged in bc he was releasing a lot of pheromones.
Not a lot of important things happen after that for a while besides Winston’s niece Georgina and sister-in-law visit Yujin and Angie a few times bc Georgina wants to get to the bottom of what really happened and Winston keeps treating Yujin like caca. At some point Yujin starts hyperventilating from being forced to sleep with Winston and passing out.
Since Yujin isn’t doing well Angie decides to go out to pick flowers or something for her dad but she gets stuck in a storm and is lost. Winston rides on horseback to find her and holds back his pheromones to keep her from being scared. I think maybe this is when he starts being nicer to both of them but I can’t quite remember. Things get more consensual between him and Yujin and he throws a party where he has a speech saying that Yujin is his spouse and Angie is his daughter (although he still believes she isn’t) and if you mess with them you’re messing with him or whatever.
Georgina also gives her druggie uncle Andrew drugs in exchange for the truth about what happened which causes him to relapse. Yujin gets his children’s book published by Evelyn’s brother but gets seen meeting him which is a whole ordeal. I think this is when Yujin claims he’s pregnant (he’s not) and Winston sends him off to go stay at some island and tells Yujin and Angie they can only see each other if they’re good.
Yujin injures himself on purpose so that he can get sent to the hospital and Winston learns (but we don’t know he knows) that Yujin is infertile. After resting for a bit he goes back to the mansion to try and get Angie and run away but gets caught by Winston and sent back to the island. Then Winston brings angie over for her bday and they have a little family day and he brings Yujin back.
Georgina and the sister in law come over and the sister in law is acting weird and Yujin realizes she’s being abused by her husband Gordon so he talks to her about how Gordon beat one of his exes to death or almost to death idk. Well turns out that was actually the sister in law’s sister and she thinks Yujin knows so she stabs him?
Well eventually Yujin does escape after Angie has a happy Christmas with her first time meeting Santa by using an outing with Georgina as an excuse. His book is doing really well at this point but he gets caught trying to cash in a royalty check and Winston is finally willing to hear his side of the story and then Georgina later sends proof of what happened after a Winston asks her to find Andrew bc he knows she gave him drugs.
This is ridiculously long so imma make another comment with the actual backstory
Right so the backstory comes out from Winston’s perspective earlier but we don’t get Yujin’s perspective for a while and then what really happened comes shortly after. I’m just gonna tell you what really happened. The early life comes out in bits and pieces in the story early on.
So Yujin was the son of Winstons dad Harold’s lover and he brought Yujin from an orphanage in Korea after his mom died when Yujin was like 10? So Yujin is locked up in the annex (that building at the end of c10) where the servants dont speak to him and the only person he meets is Harold who comes by about once a month. Around 12 he’s in the yard when he sees Winston and they become buddies.
But at 14ish both he and Winston manifest and Winston gets shipped off to a boarding school. While Winston is away Harold starts grooming Yujin getting him to sit on his lap and get naked and telling him when he goes through his first heat Harold will help him through it just nasty disgusting vile shit.
Yujin is really scared so he goes to Mrs. Campbell and says your husband is doing weird shit to me and I’m scared and she slaps him up. Thankfully Winston comes home before all this and keeps Harold away from Yujin and for a few years they have a happy life where Winston is showing Yujin the ways of the world.
Winston takes Yujin out of the property but Andrew keeps coming by to do drugs and eventually tries to make a move on Yujin but Yujin is like F off or I’ll tell Winston you tried to assault me. Well Andrew runs home and tells Catherine who tells their mommy who makes a plan for Andrew’s friends to gang rape Yujin. Winston comes home to this and saves Yujin but in the process gets shot and goes into a coma for months.
While Winston is in the coma Yujin only gets to see him twice and one of those times he somehow woke up, went into rut, Angie was conceived and then he went back under? After he wakes up his family keeps showing him fake photos of Yujin messing with other men which he doesn’t believe.
But Yujin is desperate to see him and gets a phone call from Harold who says “ill let you see Winston if you sleep with me” and Yujin is like nah but then he gets a call saying Winston is home come to the mansion. But Mrs Campbell had yet another plot where she drugs Yujin and he follows the pheromones and finds Harold who he thinks is Winston. Winston catches harold on top of Yujin but Harold never really stuck it in bc Yujin was calling out for Winston.
Regardless Yujin wakes up in a motel room and when he makes it back Winston is at his engagement ceremony to Evelyn and tells Yujin to go away bc he saw him sleep with his dad. That’s when he told Winston he was pregnant too. There’s more basckstory but imo it’s irrelevant

I dropped it honestly because the writing was so bad and I just didn’t care anymore since the backstory finally made sense but after realizing how badly he’d been deceived by his family and that he’d ultimately abandoned Yujin and treated him like shit Winston decides to take revenge. I only got as far as Gordon being arrested for sa and murder and a lawyer coming by for Winston to give up parental rights for Angie. The novel is free and completed on oceanstale so you can finish it there but it is a mtl

right? her novels also getting manhwa adaptations left and right. kiss me if you can and this (kiss the scumbag) are being adapted at the same time. desire me if you can (chase miller's bro story) is also being adapted to a manhwa soon. and i saw the bliss new novel too. she is so busy with all the adaptations. people really like her novels. it's like a guilty pleasure at this point. even i have this love-hate relationship with her novels.
Some people do like this type of stories lol or some are just curious about the shared universe thingy going on with her omegaverse novels, character cameos like that, which I'm one of those... Is there other bl authors who do this too?? Not just 1-2 spin-offs/sequel/prequel, I mean 6 or more
Tbh I'll recommend anyone to read KML first if they want to try read all of Zig's omegaverse novels (since it's the first in this series anyway iirc) coz if Keith piss them off too much then they can never handle the rest lmao
