I think it's because he has to , like decomposition. Also in my thinking to do what he does with summoning and shit, to keep a dead body functional etc must consume a lot of energy right?! And I don't think the energy to do that plus to keep the "bird" linked to him and to it is possible. We don't know what a long time means to him too. My point is whatever he's using must have a limit. Like from seeing it, it can't even talk because it's deceased, he's channeled everything to smut.

Okay, so uke said they’d be keeping that body for a long time, right? So then why did he meet with a new dude from a dating app at the end? Was the body only good for a couple months or did he change his mind or did that not work out? I need answers!!
