Many comments argue that Sahee was foolish to choose love instead of studying abroad. However, I believe that people can be correct from different perspectives. Strength in women does not exist in only one form. Sahee’s life had been filled with hardship and emotional suffering, yet she chose to rise from that experience, learn to value herself, and embrace love with someone who is willing to support and stand beside her. This choice should not automatically be interpreted as a lack of self respect or independence. Considering her low self esteem and difficult past, choosing a relationship that provides emotional stability and encouragement may actually represent personal growth and healing. In many discussions about women’s empowerment, society often imposes rigid expectations, suggesting that women must follow certain paths in order to be considered strong or independent. However, genuine empowerment lies in a woman’s ability to make her own choices freely. The essence of empowerment is not forcing a single ideal of success but allowing women the autonomy to decide what brings them fulfillment.Personally, if I were in Sahee’s position, I would most likely choose studying abroad. This decision would not stem solely from ideas of independence or self respect, but from my genuine love for learning. Studying gives me immense joy, and if possible, I would happily dedicate most of my life to it. Nevertheless, my personal preference cannot be imposed on others. Every individual carries different experiences, traumas, and aspirations that shape their decisions in life.
Therefore, rather than judging Sahee’s choice, it is more meaningful to acknowledge that different women will pursue different paths. What truly matters is that women are given the opportunity to decide for themselves, instead of having those decisions dictated by societal expectations or external pressures. Ultimately, true empowerment lies in the freedom to choose one’s own life.( This is just my opinion, if you don't agree that's perfectly alright, i will respect your opinion nonetheless)
