Tei feels so damn alone, and honestly… he really is. He’s in a foreign land with no one by his side. He has nothing, and it makes him feel like he is nothing.
For several chapters, I’ve seen people lash out at Tei because of the way he acts and thinks, but Shuraka isn’t exactly the prince of communication either. Not only did he fail to tell Tei anything about the changes and the situation in Anarta but he also left him alone on the very first night, and when he came back, he smelled like someone else and didn’t even bother to wash the fragrance off. That really didn’t sit right with me
