Violence is so romanticized and too common in some BL stories to the point it's seen as normal.

I feel like it also trickles down to the sexualization of men and that they should be complacent in their own abuse
Talking bout some "seperate media from irl" but we're actively seeing girls fetishise the "gay bestie" and using words like "too bottom" for gay people IN REAL LIFE. not to mention they will rarely show allyship towards lesbian (or other queer) people as they do to gay people

Reading Jinx is literally a whole rollercoaster bc sometimes it's angsty, sometimes its good n now suddenly JK has a change of heart? I started feeling bad at first and when seeing kid JK with Dan I lowk shed a tear but then recalling to how he used to treat Dan in the very earliest chapters I couldn't feel it in me anymore to feel that. It's giving those chinese drama reels where mc is so treated badly by ml but then she forgives easily after ml realizes his own mistake and begs for forgiveness/the ml has a change of heart and started treating the mc good again.
