I would love the dad to suffer but it's still harsh for her to say that to her dad like that especially after knowing the reason why. I thought she decided to take a different path from the og novel, but if its like this, there's nothing change you know. But ofc the dad should not force like that tho, he should have just simply told her that she can go out but only with permission and guards especially since her life is in danger. I will not forgive the dad but for once, i believe that she should listen to the dad just for own safety especially since she already has many people that she cares abt and cared abt her
