You’re only at chapter 3, so reacting that strongly already seems a bit early. It’s fine if it’s not your thing, but calling it that bad this soon feels like a stretch. I usually read a bit more before judging since some of the points you mentioned actually get explained later.

His mom was cursed and made the arena to help with the war, which is why she became a target. She thought leaving him would protect him. The divine beast’s parents did give something at the funeral—just not in Earth money. And the “cuteness” isn’t really the main focus; there’s world building, the war in the Arsene continent, the MC slowly changing, and with lots of comedic misunderstandings on the side.
